Materials and Innovative Products Spotted at Nigeria Build Expo, Lagos
Highlights From The Nigeria Build Expo 9th Edition.
Nigeria’s Build Expo had its 9th exhibition and took place from the 20th to the 22nd of May, 2025.
The Expo is the meeting point of major brands and top players in the Building, Construction and Design sectors/industries and took place at the Landmark Event Centre. Over 25 countries and 172 global brands came to spark design conversations, workshops took place, and meaningful connections were made.
For this year’s Expo edition, The Design Diary was opportuned to meet with a number of brands shaping and leading the Building Materials, Construction, Ceramics (Bathroom and Kitchen) and Water & Waste Water industries.

Turan Seramik
Turavit Turan Seramik showcased their colourful latest bathroom solutions at this year’s Nigeria Build Expo. Their floating and colourful handwash basins, toilets and bidets are easy to clean and save water.
The toilet has a soft-close feature and customizable seat covers. In addition to the available colours, clients can have their customized colours. Their toilet has the Tornado flushing mode feature that specializes in continuous swirling back. It can easily get rid of waste, keep the inner surface clean, and save water greatly.

FufuBiao Group is your one-stop shop for affordable building materials and manufacturers in China. They provide quality building materials and hotel supplies for building projects and home improvement materials.
For the Nigeria Build Expo, they showcased a number of products and materials, including a smart water closet made out of ceramics. It features UV sterilization, a warm sensation when sat on and has a remote control that automates actions like bidet or flush.
This unique product came as an inspiration from COVID-19 to guide what and how we touch things, and also our hygiene.
Akfit Sealant and Adhesives
A sealant company that produces sealants and adhesives that can be used in the construction and automobile industries.
For Nigeria Build Expo, they displayed a number of high-performance adhesives, sealants and construction chemicals designed to enhance efficiency and durability.
KuulBreeze
KuulBreeze is a Green Construction material company that provides unique louvre window solutions that provide 100% ventilation and security, enhance the aesthetics of your building, internally and externally.
For the Nigeria Build Expo, they brought back louvres, but this time in a plastic stand. It’s regarded as the G-Wagon of louvres, it’s customizable, and on request, can come with a mosquito net. They showcased the Altair® Louvre Windows, which are energy rated and can improve indoor airflow and significantly reduce the need for artificial cooling and lighting systems.

For the Nigeria Build Expo, ExtruFlex showcased flexible PVC strips that regulate temperature. The flexible strips come in a handful of colours, including transparent and colours that serve a purpose.
The orange PVC strip repels insects, the red PVC strip is for welding environments, and the transparent PVC strip is for hospitals.
Aquatelos Plastic Fabrication
For Nigeria Build Expo, Aquatelos showcased their water filtration system, wastewater treatment plan, a plastic plunge pool, plastic welding, as well as PVC/vinyl materials for floor finishes.
Silk Coat Paint
At first glance, their products can be mistaken for wallpaper or tiles, but Silk Coat deals in Turkish paint. They have 3 brands - Icona, Platinum and Dr. Smart.
For the Nigeria Build Expo, they showcased their decorative paints, which are easy to apply and blend well with the surface. The paint is odourless, has no hazards, has a 5-year warranty and is a good option or replacement for wallpaper.
Before the application of this paint, the intended surface has to be screeded. They are located in Abuja and have a warehouse in Lagos and Kano.
